Bankable · fitted lens study

TEST ESTIMATE — frame reconstructed from official photographs, not a tracer file or a true 3D scan. Thickness and protrusion are illustrative, not manufacturing specifications.

OD · Right eye

OS · Left eye

HT is measured from the bottom boxing line of each lens opening. OD appears on your left in front view. For this single-vision study HT positions the optical center; progressive fitting-cross height is not equivalent.

Frame assumptions / edit dimensions

A 53 / DBL 20 / temple 150: manufacturer specification. B 42 mm, outline, rim width/depth, bridge, temples and bevel position are estimates from photos. Your Shopify listing currently says A 52; change A here to compare. No wrap, pantoscopic tilt, base-curve optimization or frame trace is available.

Drag/swipe or use arrow keys to rotate. Orange = thicker, blue = thinner (shared scale). Red dot = thickest edge. Cross = optical center. All geometry is approximate.

Calculation and limits

Paraxial single-vision thickness model with sphere/cylinder applied around a decentered optical center. Center thickness is chosen to satisfy a 2.0 mm material center floor for 1.50/1.56, 1.5 mm for higher indices, and a 1.0 mm minimum edge. The full approximate aperture is sampled, including its interior. Minimum rules are simulator presets, not certified manufacturing limits. Surface curvature uses an illustrative 4 D front form, not a validated lens design. Protrusion compares the assumed back lens surface to a 5 mm rim depth and assumed front alignment; it changes with bevel placement, frame depth and true lens design. Values shown are rounded estimates and are not order specifications. PD and HT are used only in this browser; this tool does not submit or save them.
